Terms of use
Welcome to AfricaDesign. These terms govern your use of the platform. By creating an account or subscribing, you accept them in full.
Last updated : 27 April 20261. Definitions
AfricaDesign refers to the SaaS marketplace publishing African graphic resources (PSD files, templates, illustrations). User means any visitor, member, or creator with an account on the platform. Creator means any user whose KYC has been validated and who submits files. Member means any subscribed user with an active pack.
2. Acceptance
Using AfricaDesign means you fully accept these Terms. If you disagree with any clause, do not create an account and do not use the platform. Continued use after a Terms update implies acceptance of the new version.
3. Account
Registration is free via Google OAuth or email OTP. The free pack is automatically assigned upon signup. You undertake to:
- provide accurate and up-to-date information;
- maintain the confidentiality of your access credentials;
- not share your account or use someone else's account;
- be at least 18 years old, or have parental authorization.
AfricaDesign reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in case of breach.
4. Subscription & payments
Paid subscriptions grant access to premium files and a daily download quota set by your pack. Payment is processed through Moneroo in CFA francs. Each subscription is valid for 30 days from the activation date and expires automatically with no automatic renewal.
The user may cancel at any time, but no proration or refund will be granted for the remaining period. Daily quotas reset at midnight (Africa/Abidjan time). Quotas are non-transferable and do not carry over to the next day.
5. Downloads & file usage
Files downloaded through an active subscription may be used by the member within the limits defined by the granted license. Members may not:
- resell, redistribute, share, or republish the files;
- upload them to a competing stock platform;
- use the files in illegal, offensive, defamatory, or hateful content;
- circumvent technical protections or quotas.
Visible files without an active subscription remain non-downloadable. Premium files display the đź‘‘ badge.
6. Creator program
Any member may apply to become a creator by completing KYC (legal name, ID, mobile money number) and accepting the Creator Charter. KYC validation is mandatory before any submission and any payout request. Compensation follows a Freepik-style model: 50% of monthly subscription revenue is distributed in proportion to subscription-based downloads. One payout per month maximum, paid via Wave or Orange Money once the minimum amount is reached.
7. Intellectual property
Each creator retains ownership of their works. By submitting a file, the creator grants AfricaDesign a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, distribute, and license the file to platform members for the duration of publication. Members do not acquire ownership of the file: they receive a usage license limited to their active subscription.
The AfricaDesign brand, logo, and visual identity are the exclusive property of AfricaDesign and may not be reproduced without written authorization.
8. Moderation & sanctions
AfricaDesign moderates the catalog. The administration may, without notice:
- reject a submission with a stated reason;
- unpublish an existing file;
- suspend or definitively block an account in case of fraud, abuse, or breach of these Terms;
- reject a payout request in case of suspected violation.
Earnings related to fraudulent downloads or rejected files are not paid.
9. Liability
AfricaDesign acts as a hosting and intermediary service. We do not guarantee continuous availability of the platform, the absence of bugs, or the perfect compatibility of files with all software. The user remains responsible for backups and the legal use of downloaded files. Our liability is, in any case, limited to the amount paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Modifications
These Terms may change. Significant changes are communicated by email and/or via a notice on the platform. Continued use after the entry into force of the new version constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Ivorian law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be submitted to the competent courts of Abidjan, unless mandatory provisions of consumer law provide otherwise.
